Between US capital and the German grid.

Terawerk

Site development for data centers.

Terawerk develops gigawatt-scale data center sites in Germany. We take on the pre-stage where projects in Germany fail: grid connection, land, permits, energy and heat. We do not build or operate ourselves.

The siting decisions of the large operators are made in the USA. The grid connection is decided in Germany. Terawerk sits in both places: with one partner in New York and two partners in Germany, all three from the energy industry.

The name: Tera stands for the scale in which the energy transition is calculated. Werk is German for plant or works and stands for the power plant and industrial sites we work on.
